11 05 2007Picture this : You have your own website and want to have a photos section for the same, but you already have your pics on flickr that you would like people to see. You don’t want to take people to flickr to see your photos, instead you need a quick way of putting your photos on your site.
can do that and in under 10 minutes and provide you a variety of interfaces to your photos from flash to html.
1. Go to splashr.com
2. Give your userid, email id or even some tags for public photos and select how many photos you want to be shown
3. Select one of the existing templates that wish the photos to appear in, my favorite being one of the flash frames. Click next.
4. Here you get a public link for your photos presentation, but if you wish to use the photos on your own site, click on “Use this Presentation on your own site“
5. Next screen will give you some code, that you copy paste onto your myphotos.html or your homepage itself and then upload the changed file to your site.
Voila you have your own photo show with jazzy features with absolutely no effort.
