Another great product that you can use is AmberJack. This small 4kb open source javascript library can be included in almost every page and is extremely easy to use. I couldn’t leave out thumbstacks, my old favorite. I had used this product for its sheer brilliance. The interface is still pretty raw and the product itself is buggy, thanks to its alpha tag , but the product is great for its purpose. The collaborativ remote presentation manager is the best feature. You sit and control a remote slideshow, you can beat such a feature. People familiar with MS liveMeeting will know what I am talking about.
I was trying my hand at the flickr apis and was lucky enough to make Jflickr work to my advantage. I was able to get the photos and wanted a simple way to elegantly display photos and also allow for a slideshow. Basically, a really simple slideshow tool which could also present photos in a neat way. I found LightBox.
